Trade relations between Dubai and China, the second-largest trading partner of the emirate, have seen a salient boom of 18 per cent last year, according to a senior official. Total trade between the UAE and Japan stood at Dh49.47 billion (US$13.48 billion) during the first quarter of this year, up by 1 per cent compared to the first quarter of last year when trade between the two countries stood at around Dh49.07 (US$13.37 billion).
