Total exports of goods and services from the UAE increased to Dh746.7 billion in 2008, achieving a growth of 7.6 per cent over the previous year, according to a report released by the Ministry of Economy (MoE). The value of the UAE's re-exports activities rose from US$6 billion (Dh22bn) in 1999 to US$44.4bn in 2008, equal to a growth rate of 633 per cent, according to a new study.
