The UAE's second telecom operator du posted on Sunday a second-quarter net profit of Dh57.65 million ($15.7 million) in the second quarter, from a loss of Dh43.84 million in the corresponding period in 2008. etisalat yesterday announced its Group consolidated financial results for the first half of 2009 revealing a net profit of Dh4.593 billion. The net profit for the same period in 2008 was Dh5.045 billion which included profit on sale of shares in Mobily of Dh892 million after federal royalty.
