Dubai International recorded the busiest first half in its history with 27.9 million passengers passing through its three terminals between January and June this year, according to the traffic report issued yesterday by airport operator Dubai Airports. Sharjah International Airport on Tuesday announced a 12.6 per cent increase in passenger traffic in the first half of this year, marking its busiest six-month period ever. Passenger numbers at Dubai International Airport increased 10.4% year on year in May, its operator, Dubai Airports, said on Monday.
