Emirates A380 draws in over 18,000 visitors at the Dubai Airshow

Over 18,000 people visited the new two-class Emirates A380 over the last five days at the Dubai Airshow. That is the equivalent of filling up 30 full flights on the two-class A380, which debuted for the first time at the show. The total value of deals announced during the first two days of the ongoing Dubai Air Show 2015, reached around US$ 70 million, according to Major General Abdullah al Sayed Al Hashemi, Chief of the Military Committee and the UAE Armed Forces Spokesman at the show. Defence and security company Saab has signed a contract with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Air Force to expand and enhance its airborne surveillance capabilities.
