The first day of the 3x3 Arab Women Basketball Tournament has concluded, seeing 16 teams competing on the courts. The Sharjah Ladies Club, SLC, will represent the United Arab Emirates in the 17th Arab Women Clubs Basketball Championship to be held in Egypt. Following the successful staging of the 2014 Fiba U17 World Championship, the president of world governing body is convinced the U.A.E. is capable of delivering even the men's World Cup in the future.
