This year's Arabian Travel Market witnessed a 10 percent increase in visitors from the GCC and a 7 percent increase in international visitors to the event, which was held in Dubai World Trade Centre from 24th to 27th April, organisers said. 12th September, 2016 - Emirates Airlines A380s will fly between Dubai and New Zealand five times daily from 30th October with the introduction of the airline's double-decker flagship aircraft on Christchurch services. Emirates Group's travel and airport services unit has purchased a majority stake in Air Dispatch, which is a subsidiary of British company Chapman Freeborn Group. Almost 48 million people travelled through Dubai's air, land and seaports in 2015, a 7.84 per cent increase when compared to statistics of 2014, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) reported on Sunday.
