Sea Dubai has stepped in as one of the sponsors for the 2009 UIM WPPA Class One Offshore World Powerboat Championship that gets under way with the opening round in Doha next month. Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club (ADIMSC) will submit a comprehensive report on its capabilities for the organization and promotion of the Formula 2 powerboat championship to the World Professional Powerboating Association (WPPA), said chairman of ADIMSC H.H Doctor Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Al-Nahyan. Promoters of the Continental F2000 Championship have earmarked Fujairah as a prime location for the sport, announcing it will host a Grand Prix meeting on February 23.
