The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority has announced that telecom operators in the country will now be able to drop prices for competition.
TRA Director-General Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim said: "The TRA has made several improvements to its Price Control Regulatory Policy and Procedure. Now, the service providers can request a fast track review of certain prices to enable them to react to rapidly changing market demands.
"Bringing new prices to the market faster facilitates telecommunication services at optimally competitive prices." – Emirates Business
