RIYADH: The Gulf Cooperation Council, GCC, condemned on Tuesday the terrorist attack on the Kandahar guesthouse in Afghanistan in which the UAE Ambassador Juma Al Kaabi, a number of Emirati diplomats and the governor of Kandahar were wounded.
GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif Al Zayani deplored the attach as a cowardly, terrorist act which violates human and ethical values and principles.
Al Zayani expressed the GCC's solidarity with the UAE and Afghanistan, adding that the heinous crime came at a time when the UAE ambassador was undertaking an official humanitarian mission as part of the UAE's efforts to implement development projects for the benefit of the Afghan people. . – Emirates News Agency, WAM - http://now.wam.ae/en/news/emirates/1395305732612.html
