The financial and economic affairs committee of the Federal National Council discussed the UAE Central Bank's policy during its meeting on Sunday in the offices of the FNC in Dubai, presided over by Majed Hamad Al Shamsi, head of the committee.
During the meeting, Al Shamsi stressed the importance of listening to the opinion of the authorities and including it in the committee's report, in compliance with the laws and legislations organising the work of the central bank, in addition to the bank's policy in supporting the employment of citizens, the financial sector in the country and the role of the bank in organising the monetary, credit and baking policies.
He added that the committee would invite representatives from UAE banks and the Central Bank to attend the next meeting, as the FNC is keen to communicate with different sectors of society, and with citizens, during the discussion of important issues. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
