Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality, on Sunday, has launched the plantation week activities organised by the Public Parks and Horticulture Department in Zabeel-1 area during which the department started the first stage of numbering perennial trees in the emirate of Dubai.

This year civic body decided to start with a unique project which is numbering all types of traditional trees including Ghaf, Qarad, Atal, Sidr, Samar, Lathb and Rola..etc with the aim to collect all data about these trees and keep its complete record digitally.
