One of the UAE s leading business facilitation and networking companies, IEDEA, has announced that this year's Asian Business Leadership Forum, ABLF, 2016, scheduled for Saturday, 12th November, at the Palazzo Versace Dubai, will take place in association with the UAE Ministry of Economy.

"The Asian Business Leadership Forum, ABLF, celebrates regional dialogue and co-operation to enhance growth opportunities and build a better future for the region. The UAE maintains good trade and economic relations with other Asian countries. Great leadership in this age should be able to build strong and sustainable relations and break barriers," Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, said.

"I back the ABLF's efforts in bolstering the growing ties between the private and public sector as well as among Asian peoples," Sheikh Nahyan added.

The Managing Director of IEDEA, Malini N. Menon, said, "We are honoured to have the official association with the Ministry of Economy of the UAE and the ABLF, which has earned high credibility and status across 42 nations of Asia since the inaugural event nine years ago. Together, we have plans to strategically leverage the considerable goodwill that the ABLF has built over these years to promote UAE's position as the centre of the world, offering the best infrastructure for business, investment and lifestyle."

Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister Of Economy, who has been a supporter, speaker and presenter at the ABLF series in past editions, said, "The UAE is poised for great growth with Expo 2020 Dubai, and there is potential for not just the UAE, but the nations of Asia to participate and share in this growth dynamic. The agenda of the ABLF Series leads me to believe that the upcoming edition will be important as we move into a decade of development marked by innovation and excellence."

The seventh annual edition of the event, under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, will bring together leaders from across the world who are engaged in government services, public and private enterprise, and will promote the spirit of collaboration, an essential feature on the road to the progress and development of the global economy.

Reflecting UAE s strong commitment to helping socio-economic issues that affect the world, the ABLF 2016, being held under the theme, Heroes of the Innovation Economy , features the presence of some of Asia s biggest influencers and presents a cameo showcase of the UN Global Goals 8: 'Decent Work & Economic Growth', elaborating on the need for diversification, innovation, and sustainable means of economic growth, while at the same time ensuring decent job creation, entrepreneurship, and youth employment.

The ABLF 2016 has two of the largest UAE-based conglomerates as presenting partners: Senaat, one of the country's largest industrial investment holding companies, and National Petroleum Construction Company, NPCC, a leading international EPC contractor. It has the strategic partnership of Masdar, to promote the narrative of sustainability, and Twitter as the Networking Partner at the event.

With China large on the UAE business scape, the ABLF's association with the prestigious Boao Forum for Asia has ensured an expansion into the leadership capital of Central Asia, and has, therefore, spread its network deep into China, featuring its best entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Ma Zehua, Chairman, China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO Group); Chan Chauto, President, CEFC; Will Cheng Wei, Co-founder, Chairman and CEO, Didi Chuxing; Chen Feng, Chairman, HNA Group, are ABLF leaders whose interest in strengthening the China-India-UAE business connect have encouraged exciting new collaborations. Meanwhile, the ABLF Award platform that has recognised over 90 exemplary leaders at glittering well-attended Award events continues to promote the importance of Asia within the global context, a press release from the organisers said.

An impressive line-up of other responsible, capable and proactive leaders who have successfully engaged the global audience, will participate in the ABLF 2016. – Emirates News Agency, WAM -http://www.wam.ae/en/news/emirates/1395302492681.html
