UAE Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received Spanish Presidency Secretary General Bernardino Leon, who is currently visiting the country.
The Spanish official congratulated Sheikh Abdullah on winning of the UAE pavilion at Zaragoza Expo 2008, a golden medal, adding that the UAE participation at Zaragoza Expo in Spain this year "achieved objectives due to great support from Sheikh Abdullah".
He noted that the message of UAE pavilion, which was supervised over by National Media Council for three months, was to highlight the efforts being exerted by the UAE on search for alternative sources, renewable energy, water and environment conservation.
The UAE pavilion was visited by over 1 million visitors from June 14- September 11. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
